Scentsational Season meets Heart of Christmas

I received my box with my pre-order today, it was packed with a lot of different goodies. And like a little kid at Christmas I could not wait to dig in and start playing. First things first though I had to get everything in it's place to make some room for me to play. I had so many new stamp sets to choose from, which one was I going to use? Well it would seem I'm in the Christmas mood today as I set to work creating my first Christmas card since doing my swaps for convetion.

I had so much fun putting this card together, and was able to use so many new products creating it. The new core'dination papers are amazing and so much fun. Simply emboss using your favorite embossing folder and gently sand away to reveal the core. I also had fun using the sugar & spice embossing powder on the gingerbread men, they smell so yummy. Most of the items on this cute little card can be found in the new holiday mini being released tomorrow.

Fall Scrapbook Pages using Comfort Cafe DSP

I've always enjoyed taking pictures of my kids in the fall, feeding the geese or just playing at the park. I've got lots of pictures over the years that still need to be scrapped. But I have to admit this is one of my favorite times of year to take pictures of my kids.

I had some time to play with some of the new DSP from the 2012-2013 catalog. I've been wanting to see what I can come up with for a fall page with the comfort cafe dsp. I came across a great sketch at www.gotsketch.blogspot.com and used this as my inspiration. I combined the gently falling stamp set to get the leaves and a little linen thread to tie them together. Here's what I came up with.

Moving Forward Fundaiser Card Class

I have just come back from the Stampin Up Convention where we were all given the Moving Forward Stamp Set. For every one of this stamp set that Stampin Up sells they will donate $3 to Ronald McDonald House. How wonderful is this? And because it's such a wonderful charity I have decided to hold a class featuring this set. If your in Winnipeg and would be interested in more information please visit my demonstrator website at www.stampinsheri.stampinup.net

I have made 4 different cards featuring this stamp set, some of them are cased and some are my own ideas. I'm hoping this will be a successful class as I'd really like to be a part of helping out in raising money for Ronald McDonald House. Hope you enjoy my cards.
